On 18 February 2020 the NBA research team presented in Brussels the draft methodology to a range of stakeholders (businesses, government, CSOs, and academia) to raise awareness about the process, and ask feedback about critical issues to consider during the NBA process. Attendance to the event was satisfying and many stakeholders were represented, including business associations, relevant ministries, export credit agencies, OECD NCP Belgium, universities, local administrations, development cooperation agencies, trade unions and NGOs. Some stakeholders were not yet reached, such as representatives of SMEs, victims associations or human rights defenders. Unfortunately, the resources and schedule of the NBA do not allow direct engagement with stakeholders and rightholders in third countries.
